Project goals

As a scientific and educational project, PRIVATE-EYE aims to achieve the following:

  1. Raising Privacy Awareness: Enhancing awareness of the importance of privacy-preserving AI technologies through educational campaigns and training. We investigate the psychological factors influencing privacy behavior and apply these insights to improve privacy practices among students, educators, and professionals.

  2. Practical Privacy Preservation: Teaching and applying state-of-the-art privacy engineering techniques in real-world scenarios. We develop and implement privacy-preserving technologies in collaboration with local and international partners, tailoring them to the specific needs of target groups in Egypt.

  3. Research and Curriculum Development: Updating existing curricula and creating new courses that integrate privacy as an interdisciplinary subject. We formulate guidelines for privacy-preserving technology development, informed by empirical research and adapted to the cultural context of Egypt.
