Overview
PRIVATE-EYE is an interdisciplinary project enhancing data privacy and ethical AI use in education and engineering. Combining psychology and computer science, it promotes privacy awareness and culturally sensitive solutions, particularly in Egypt, in collaboration with Ulm University and the German International University in Cairo.

Project goals
PRIVATE-EYE is dedicated to advancing privacy-preserving AI through education, research, and practical application. The project raises privacy awareness among students and professionals, applies cutting-edge privacy engineering techniques in real-world contexts, and integrates privacy into educational curricula. By combining psychological insights and technical expertise, PRIVATE-EYE develops culturally tailored guidelines and technologies to enhance data privacy practices, particularly in Egypt.

Current Studies and Activities
PRIVATE-EYE Activities:
Think-Protect-Go: Campaign on data privacy risks and user rights at the German International University, Egypt.
SPAI Seminar: Seminar on cutting-edge privacy-preserving AI techniques at Ulm University, Germany.
PrAIvate Research Cluster: Interdisciplinary research on privacy-preserving AI between Germany and Egypt.
BewARe VR/AR Tools: Developing VR and AR tools to enhance privacy awareness at the German International University, Egypt.
